Episode 67: "Firearms Folklore" (2006)
Myths included 1) a bullet can be fired into an empty chamber of an opposing revolver, 2) a sniper can kill an enemy sniper by shooting through his rifle scope, and 3) in the U.S. Civil War, two bullets collided in midair and fused together.
Episode 65: "Exploding Lighter" (2006)
Myths included 1) an Old West gunslinger could drop a coin and fire his revolver five times before the coin hits the ground, 2) an Old West gunslinger could shoot a hole through a silver dollar, and 3) an Old West gunslinger could save a man from being hanged by shooting the rope.
Special 9: "Mega Movie Myths 2-Hour Special" (2006)
Myths included 1) a lock can be broken by shooting it with a handgun, 2) a lock can be broken by shooting it with a shotgun or rifle, and 3) a person can breakthrough a floor by shooting a ring around the person.
Episode 51: "Myths Revisited" (2006)
Myths included 1) a wooden arrow at a target can be split by another arrow, and 2) a firearm can be fired when submerged completely in water.
Special 3: "Ultimate Mythbuster" (2005)
Challenges included 1) building a machine that can shoot a tortilla as far as possible, and 2) who possessed the higher pain threshold in a paintball match.
Episode 10: "Explosive Decompression, Frog Giggin', Rear Axle" (2004)
Myths included 1) a group of hillbillies used a live .22LR-caliber cartridge as a makeshift replacement for a burned-out fuse in their truck, but while the truck is driving, the bullet heats up enough to discharge, hitting driver in the groin and causing enough damage to require surgery.
Episode: "Third Man Out: A Donald Strachey Mystery" (2005)
In "Third Man Out," gay detective Donald Strachey is commissioned to protect gay activist John Rutka, known for "outing" prominent citizens. Strachey abandons bodyguard duty when he feels that Rutka is staging the threats against him. When Rutka turns up dead, Strachey is faced with an extensive list of enemies all with enough motive to kill. Video preview
